This logo design is for a special Ethnic & Race Studies scholarship program at Cal Lutheran University. The program empowers students to develop critical thinking skills, new perspectives and expand their engagement among communities of color in the United States. Since the logo promotes visibility, building identity and recognition, a fist was used as a striking symbol of empowerment. A patchwork of various cultural patterns and colors were utilized to represent diverse communities coming together.
