California Lutheran University
This project entailed a complete redesign of Cal Lutheran's bi-annual alumni magazine. Some key elements were a new masthead design, cover design, cover story spread and featured article spreads totaling 40 pages. The magazine’s name was thoughtfully redesigned using three different typefaces to acknowledge the university’s past, present and future. The overarching goal was to integrate a fresh approach to engage the reader who spans across young and old. It was integral to retain CLU's foundational brand while also incorporating dynamic layouts, photos and graphic elements. The publication is mailed to alumni, parents, friends and also distributed campus wide.
