The Travelbox subscription app was inspired by those in my social circle who move temporarily within the US for work. Through research interviews, participants stated that preparing, packing and comfortably settling into a short-term home can be overwhelming and stressful. Living essentials such as bedding, linens, housewares, etc. are often missing from temporary rental properties. Items they assume would be provided, are not. Travelbox is geared to save users from shopping in stores for what they need – especially with a demanding work schedule. Subscription options allow users to shop from the app, fill their “box” with items and schedule a delivery right to their door. They save time and are less stressed getting things they need to make their short-term rental feel like home.
